Jeremy Ohringer (he/him) (Director) is a Chicago-based theatre-maker and educator and is happy to be back directing at NCC. He loves adapting and reinvigorating classics, working with playwrights, and devising performance. He seeks to create community, ignite wonder, and challenge what theatre can be.
Most recently, he directed A Devil Comes to Town at Trap
Door Theatre (which he originally developed at NCC in the fall of 2024).
Amelia Hefferon (she/her) (Director) is a theatre artist, educator, and facilitator committed to using theatre as a tool for education and community building. She specializes in creating original theatre with artists of all ages. As a teaching artist and facilitator, Amelia has worked
with a wide range of organizations across Chicago, New York, and Detroit, including
Lookingglass Theatre Company, Silk Road Rising, Adventure Stage Chicago, Story Pirates, CAT Youth Theatre, Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, and more.
